![]() One could argue this is more favorable, though I cannot say for certain as I don't manage those things. We do pay taxes, but those taxes (as I currently understand the structure as someone who does not have a personal corp in the alliance) are based on the amount of money made by the corp rather than being a set price. It’s become too large and actively is hurting the ecosystem.Īll valid points. Maybe a region if alliances were lucky, old renting was literally by the constellation.īut now we are talking about 2/3rds of the map covered in nothing but massive tenant and floodplain areas…. Not allowing new groups unless they fall under the blood/crip colors.Īll of these are problems that didn’t exist way back then when renting was okay, but it had grown way out of proportion to what renting use to be. The lack of meaning to own space is pointless and a problem. The only difference is that a lotta people that aren’t on that coin are starting to see the facts that yeah, renting use to work, but we have different mechanics and a different ecosystem, it doesn’t work anymore, and people fail to see thatįlood plains are a problem. No matter what Horde is gonna call goons the bad guy, goons are gonna call Horde the bad guy. We’re all here to shoot eachother as no one has shot eachother in months. You have a real hard time separating the meta game from the narrative: yes the narrative is burn the botting alliances as they do not fall in line with the states ideals! But who the fuck cares tbh. You don’t see goons going to punch a new kid on the bloc for lunch money… but we know who does! What’s “bad” about these other alliances is the influence they are having on 2023 eve, and nothing more, nothing less. It’s an even match and that’s even more exciting than a 1 way road. The other groups aren’t bad because they are as big as goons, hell I’d say it’s amazing Horde was able to catch up. And y’all have nothing bad to say about Asher and the new goons because we haven’t done anything “bad” so y’all go right back to making jokes about the old toxic SA goons (all of which who are banned by this point). Yes we get it goons use to be bad when mittani and SA people ran the alliance. If you are fine with that as the renter and just want to log in, krab, and then do whatever, what's wrong with that? It's a sandbox.ĭo you ever take yourself off the high road for 2 seconds? Not everyone wants to be a sovereign nation is fine with being like a commonwealth or a territory. Why is it bad? We just want to have our own few solar systems to play in and do our thing without having to deal with politics. We won't get defense help (probably?) but no one is coming to flatten our structures and have protection by virtue of being behind the wall of Horde or Goons or whatever.Įveryone wins. Low traffic, BRMs are normalized and we can simply build out our stuff and ARM however we want. Horde or whomever else has a deal where if we toss them a billion a month we can have 1-3 systems in some sleepy ass-end back corner of their space, which is perfect for us. Get into some fleets, a bit of PVP, but want to stay "us". We just want to live in Null and make fat ISK and have some fun. I'm part of a 5, 10, 20 person corporation. I don't even understand why having renters is considered "bad", or being renters.
